On August 16, WEMBLEY MEDICAL, with the approval and collaboration of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, successfully held the seminar "Domestic Enterprises Producing High-Tech Medical Devices: Opportunities and Challenges" at the WEMBLEY MEDICAL factory in the Saigon High-Tech Park of Ho Chi Minh City. The seminar was attended by representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, numerous major hospitals in the area, healthcare industry experts, and a large number of media representatives.
In his opening remarks at the seminar, Specialist Doctor II Nguyen Hoai Nam, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, highlighted the opportunities and challenges facing enterprises producing high-tech medical devices. He emphasized that this seminar serves as an important forum for stakeholders to collaboratively seek solutions to enhance the production capacity of domestic medical devices and to build a modern and self-sufficient healthcare system.
On behalf of WEMBLEY MEDICAL, Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Thuy, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Director of WEMBLEY MEDICAL, shared insights into the achievements the company has attained over the past period, as well as the challenges and difficulties in producing high-tech products amidst the rapid development of the healthcare industry.
During the seminar, Mr. Phan Viet Anh Viet Vuong, Deputy Director of Research and Development at WEMBLEY MEDICAL, had the opportunity to introduce the factory's standout products, including Safety Intravenous Catheters and Vacuum Blood Collection Tubes—leading global safe disposable supplies, designed and manufactured in Vietnam for the first time by WEMBLEY MEDICAL.

On behalf of the client units, Dr. Pham Thi Lan, Chief Medical Officer of Laditec Testing Center and Former Head of the Laboratory Department at Binh Duong General Hospital, Former Head of the Laboratory Department at My Phuoc General Hospital, and Former Head of the Laboratory Departmen at Hoan My Binh Duong General Hospital, shared her practical experiences using medical devices manufactured by WEMBLEY MEDICAL. She commended the quality, reliability, and effectiveness of these products in enhancing the quality of testing services at the hospitals where she has worked.
In his closing remarks at the seminar, Prof. Pr.D. Dr. Tang Chi Thuong, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, emphasized the importance of developing the domestic medical device manufacturing industry to reduce reliance on imports and enhance the self-sufficiency of the healthcare sector. He also announced several new supportive policies from the city aimed at assisting businesses in this field.
