The Northern Regional Healthcare Digital Transformation Conference was held in Vinh City, Nghe An, showcasing the successful partnership between the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Public Security, and IT companies.

The Vietnam-Korea Institute of Science and Technology (VKIST) has just officially signed a deal with DataStreams of South Korea to develop an artificial intelligence model for pilot remote healthcare services. The two parties, at the ceremony signing the agreement on September 7, 2023, in Hanoi, agreed to collaborate to conduct AI research and develop a platform.

The "Second Healthcare Innovation Forum" will take place on October 18, 2023, organized by Pharma Group to promote innovation and enhance healthcare quality in Vietnam. The forum will focus on three critical aspects: enhancing research and clinical trial capabilities, boosting innovation in developing digital healthcare infrastructure, and applying advanced technologies and artificial intelligence in drug production.

On October 25th, Emily Hamblin, the British Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, announced a £75,000 grant to help Ho Chi Minh City develop into a regional healthcare innovation center for ASEAN. The collaboration will focus on disease surveillance, medical training, clinical research and development, and digital transformation. Liverpool and Ho Chi Minh City are also exploring a twinning model in healthcare.
